I went to my car today
On the floor there was a picture of me and you
It's been so long since we talked
I guess the last time was when you said I'm leaving you
The
picture was folded and torn
Underneath my seat it sat I forgot that's where it was
Picking it up I read what I wrote on the back
"I love you always, I love you just because"
Even
though the picture turned in color
Your face somehow stayed the same
These feelings I haven't felt in so long
The touch of your hand and you calling out my name
Nervously
I thought someone was looking at me
As I laid our picture down
Then all at once it hit me hard
I left the greatest love I ever found
This
picture did a lot for me today
Yet I know inside I can not call or write
It took this picture that I found
To show me though love is worth keeping
It's worth a never ending fight
