I looked out over my balcony tonight
The sun was setting low
The water outside was rumbling
The sky had the strangest glow

looked down to the water
I saw a faint reflection of me in there
But I never saw the living creatures
That swam without a care
Sometimes
you can see everything
Sometimes you need a helping hand
Sometimes you need to step back
And take the guidance of another's hand

look out tonight at the world
