Everyday I wake with the sunrise
And with the moon then comes good-byes
To sit and work the whole day through
And now lately it holds thoughts of only you
With each hour that passes by
So often holds my question way
Now if you came to change my life
Why is this all such a fight?
I know I have times of happiness and sorrow
But to end this day what will come tomorrow
You seem not to let me in
To get to know you let me be your friend
And maybe I do come on a little to strong
But I ask you "Wouldn't you if you knew you weren't wrong?"
So I will give you time if its time you need
But if your ever hurting I ask you to lean on me
I won't tell you I'll carry you through
But hold on to me and there's nothing we can not do
And as I close yet another day
Remember with friends there's always a way
