Friendship, what does it mean
Breaking down the word maybe we will see
What friendship means to you
What it especially means to me
"Fri"
so often is used to describe Friday
The end of the week we have lived
Also the beginning of the weekend
Where together friends can share and give
"End"
sometimes means things have to stop
We can't continue this way
But true friendships last till the end of time
Friends are there in your heart each and everyday
"Ship"
well a ship so many times leaves port
Afraid to face the sea alone
But in a friendship you can go anywhere unafraid
Knowing you'll always be able to come back home
I'd
like our friendship to go on for many Fridays
And yes last till the end of time
I'll sail anywhere not afraid to return
Because I'm loved by my friend and I love this friend of mine |
