Today a friend of mine said"Winters coming its going to get cold outside"
I had to laugh, if she only knew
My entire world has been cold inside and out
Well since the day we said we were though
The snow will soon fall, the ground covered for no one to see
Just like our love buried so deep and far below
But there are roots down there, somewhere
But at times you might not even know
The tempature outside is the same in my heart
But there's no melting this away
I pray and call out loud to the heavens
For once more a warm and sunny day
But if that day never does comes our way
And I am left here in the cold
It doesn't stop me from smiling inside
Thinking of you... it's still the warmest place I know
